About the role
- Operate as a freelance ASL interpreter in a 1099 Independent Contractor role for Hanna Interpreting Services LLC.
- Bridge communication gaps by providing language access for individuals using ASL.
- Set your availability and accept appointments based on your schedule.
- Provide interpreting services Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm (appointments offered based on need; not guaranteed).
- Work in varied settings and adapt to different work environments.
- Note: Appointments and interpreter rates vary based on availability, experience, and demand.
Requirements
- Exhibit proficiency in ASL (American Sign Language)
- Be willing to complete ASL (American Sign Language) assessment by as Certified ASL Professional (exceptions can be made with proven work history and certifications).
- Complete all required documents in a timely manner.
- Flexibility to work in different settings and adapt to various work environments.
- Must be located in and authorized to work in the US (We do not offer visa sponsorship).
- High School Diploma or equivalent
