About the role
- Prospecting and closing sales for GumGum’s contextual advertising platform
- Develop key relationships within large and mid-size agencies
- Responsible for a book of business of $4-5M+ driving renewal revenue and new business in the US
- Identify and qualify opportunities from marketing-driven leads
- High-volume sales activity including cold calling, presentations, RFPs, and creative sales solutions
- Upsell current clients on current and new products (e.g., Verity) and provide market insights
- Cultivate relationships with brands, agency contacts and clients to understand business needs
- Translate client insight to internal Product Team and provide feedback to improve service
- Collaborate with Account Manager, CSM, PSM and other teams to ensure successful implementation of sold proposals
- Work relatively autonomously while supported by a cross-functional pre-sales team
- Report to Group Sales Director and occasionally participate in strategic client calls
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree - ideally in Media or Marketing/Advertising field
- 4+ years of selling experience in digital advertising
- Experience managing a large book of business (4-5M+)
- Strong selling experience and track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets
- Experience in selling Programmatic strongly preferred
- Proficient in SalesForce (comfortable logging meetings, calls, pulling reports, etc.)
- PowerPoint, Excel and Word skills
- Uses SellerCrowd and checks the trades for updates on accounts
- Strong and strategic relationship building with clients
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Attention to detail
- Quick at problem solving internally and externally while managing stakeholders
- Self-starter ready to grow the book of business
- Applies analytical skills to interpret data
- Must be US-based (Remote - US based)
