Translate complex business requirements into technical designs and solutions using ServiceNow.
Lead the overall architecture design and development of ServiceNow implementations, ensuring alignment with business objectives and best practices.
Establish and enforce architectural standards, best practices, and governance for ServiceNow development.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to the ServiceNow development team.
Develop, configure, and enhance ServiceNow applications.
Stay current with ServiceNow products, features, and industry trends to drive innovation.
Conduct technical assessments and provide recommendations for improving existing ServiceNow implementations.
Serve as the lead technical point of contact for clients on all matters related to ServiceNow.
Conduct reviews of functionality developed by ServiceNow development team and perform testing.
Lead platform upgrade activities including regression testing and reconfiguration.
Ensure the security, scalability, and maintainability of ServiceNow solutions.
Travel: Up to 10% as required.
Requirements
Once onboard with Guidehouse, new hire MUST be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "SECRET" security clearance.
Bachelor's degree is required
Minimum SEVEN (7) years of ServiceNow experience supported by ServiceNow certifications (e.g., CSA, CIS, CAD) and experience serving in an Architect role.
Experience with Software Development Lifecycle methodologies, deliverables, and controls.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Expertise in ServiceNow Modules such as GRC, SPM, and ITSM, as well as with App Engine, Service Portal, and Scoped Apps.
Experience guiding senior level clients on ServiceNow strategy and architecture.
Strong experience with scripting (JavaScript, Glide, AngularJS), Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.
Experience leading and mentoring junior ServiceNow team members.
Well-rounded technology consulting experience, including ability to define requirements, lead client meetings, facilitate UAT, and conduct trainings.
Experience working in an Agile environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and establish rapport with a diverse array of people at all levels.
Ability to self-direct, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks and demands.
Heightened attention to detail when developing technical solutions.
Nice to have: Experience with ServiceNow automated testing framework (ATF).
Nice to have: Ability to commute to client or corporate offices within the Washington, DC metropolitan area 2-3 days per week.
Nice to have: Agile, SCRUM or SAFe certifications.
Nice to have: ServiceNow Certified Master Architect or Certified Technical Architect certifications.
Nice to have: General understanding of financial management aspects, particularly in a federal environment.
