About the role
- Answer phone calls in Spanish and English according to team priorities
- Communicate with clients and related departments to collect registered debts following SOPs and Work Instructions
- Ensure file management (writings/requests/calls, credit investigations)
- Provide customer service through electronic channels
- Project a positive image of the company and brand
- Implement process improvements and share relevant knowledge with the team
- Verify and update customer information during each telephone exchange
- Negotiate immediate regularization of unpaid invoices (direct debits, credit card collections, etc.)
- Attend training sessions and complete the training plan
- Arrange flexible working schedules with colleagues and assist new colleagues
Requirements
- Very good knowledge of Spanish (C1)
- Good knowledge of English (B2)
- Bachelor’s degree
- Good MS Office knowledge
- Analytical thinking and self-starter
- Relevant experience in phone customer service/collections (preferred)
- High motivation and ability to learn (preferred)
- Ability to work under time pressure (preferred)
- Successfully complete the training plan and pass the process knowledge test (PKT)
- Arrange working schedules with colleagues flexibly according to business needs
- Provide assistance to new colleagues when possible
- Inform process trainers and management when SOP information is out-of-date
