About the role
- Review and process invoices and release invoices for payment
- Provide resolutions for invoices and resolve vendor queries and requests via e-mails/tickets within SLA
- Review and validate invoice essentials like supplier details, PO, bank account, invoice #, invoice date
- Maintain exception logs and tracker of exceptions; ensure invoices/queries are balanced
- Follow up with requisitions (via calls/emails/tickets) to resolve hold invoices per AP guideline
- Enforce internal compliance policy and guidelines in daily operations
- Independently perform transactional tasks supporting compliance, planning and execution of assigned processes
- Perform daily internal audit to ensure invoices/queries are balanced as per guidelines
Requirements
- Accounts Payable/Invoice Processing/Accounting/ERP experience
- Graduate in Commerce ( B.Com )
- Meaningful work experience
- Excellent English language skills (verbal and written)
- Articulate and demonstrate basic Accounts payable process concepts – 3 way match, PO, NON PO, GRN
- Able to understand the nuances of India AP aspects
- India Import Invoices processing – check Bill of Entry, packing list before posting
- Proficient in Tax Deducted at Source; aware of % of deduction for major categories
- Aware of TDS applicable on Service expense incurred in foreign currency
- GST basics: Intrastate, Interstate, State & Central components along with rates
- Ability to process using SAP ERP (preferred)
- Experience in India related Stat requirements (preferred)
- Ability to resolve vendor queries via e-mails/tickets within SLA
- Ability to maintain exception logs and trackers
- Ability to perform daily internal audit and transactional tasks
