About the role
- Lead and be responsible for Accounts Payables operations team
- Accountable for end-to-end Accounts Payable processes: document management, invoice processing, trade and non-trade (EDI & Non-EDI), vendor maintenance, database corrections, intercompany non-trade payments, and exceptions handling
- Set up and supervise vendor master file, payments, T&E processing and audits
- Handle external regulatory reporting (e.g., 1099, DADS2), helpdesk, statement auditing, escheatment function, VAT and other special processes
- Work across multiple ERPs, systems, and manual processes
- Ensure completion of activities within agreed time, quality, and meet KPIs/SLAs
- Ensure client satisfaction and support successful external and internal audits
- Manage team performance and operations under strict deadlines and pressure
Requirements
- B.Com Graduations (MBA – Finance preferred)
- Relevant experience in Accounts Payable domain
- Sound knowledge of end to end accounts payable process
- Experience managing a team of ~50 people
- Proficient in MS Office applications, especially in MS excel
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle team and client discussions
- Ability to work on multiple ERPs and manual-intensive systems
- Able to work on strict deadlines and in a high pressure business environment
- Open to work in any shift as per business requirement
