💰 $140,250 - $189,750 per year
About the role
- Support several complex and high-volume customer systems as a member of an Agile team
- Capture user stories and lead scrum team including backlog management and sprint planning
- Communicate and work with stakeholders to translate business vision into actionable requirements
- Elicit, analyze, document, and validate requirements
- Coordinate and facilitate meetings with clear agendas and keep participants on-track
- Create business and technical process and data flow diagrams
- Create Epics, Features, and clearly defined user stories
- Manage and prioritize backlog items and optimize product value
- Act as main point of contact between SAFe Agile teams
- Assist scrum/product development team to meet sprint objectives and adjust/improve iterations
- Identify areas of improvement and coordinate across business and technical resources
- Participate in daily scrum meetings to support requirements clarification and raise impediments
- Participate in Program Quarterly Incrementation Planning sessions to assess work and establish development goals

- 5 + years of related experience
- Minimum of three years of experience capturing and writing User Stories
- Minimum of three years of experience in a system engineering or software application environment
- Previous product owner work experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, information systems, or related field
- U.S. Citizen with existing or the ability to pass a Public Trust background investigation
- Experience communicating and working with stakeholders to translate business vision into actionable requirements
- Excellent requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and validation skills
- Experience coordinating and facilitating meetings
- Ability to create business and technical process and data flow diagrams
- Ability to create Epics, Features, and clearly defined user stories
- Experience managing and prioritizing backlogs
- Experience participating in Scrum ceremonies and Program Quarterly Incrementation Planning
- Working knowledge of product development architecture (desired)
- Proficiency in the use of analytic tools (desired)
- Experience with Jira (desired)
- Experience with Confluence (desired)
- Ability to communicate complex technical topics to management and non-technical audiences
- Ability to work independently and interact with government and non-government stakeholders
