About the role
- Report to the Manager, People & Planning as the People Business Partner supporting business units
- Provide coaching and advisory support to leaders and employees, including managing and resolving complex employee issues
- Consult on performance, compensation, benefits, organizational design, recruitment, and development
- Understand and drive Jobber’s People strategy and develop/deliver people solutions
- Own and evolve leave administration strategy and help employees navigate personal milestones
- Review and analyze Department People Data and metrics to identify trends and generate actionable reports for senior leaders
- Manage creation and rollout of new people programs
- Collaborate with and leverage other members of the People team to create solutions
- Participate in People team strategic planning and provide insights on the tech sector
Requirements
- Robust experience in a similar role, preferably supporting a high-volume call centre environment
- Ability to build strong relationships and create trust quickly
- Consistent follow-through and reliability
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable preparing leadership briefs and delivering training
- Team orientation and positive, problem-solving approach
- Firm understanding of employment legislation and ability to apply it across regions
- Continuous learning mindset and comfort with change
