About the role
- Edit short and long videos for YouTube exclusively in Adobe Premiere Pro
- Edit videos for Instagram and TikTok using their native platforms
- Edit host’s narration, choose the best takes, and ensure the audio is seamless
- Research and gather material such as b-roll footage and archival images, understanding what can and cannot be legally used on YouTube and social media
- Collaborate with the motion graphics team when needed
- Basic color correction
- Search for and edit music into the video when needed
- Sound edit and sound mix the final sequence
- In some cases, act as an assistant editor to another editor, for example gathering materials, choosing selects, laying down subtitles
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years editing experience
- Knowledge of YouTube best practices in terms of pacing and music and/or Knowledge of social media best practices
- Expert knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro and working knowledge of Photoshop, After Effects, Media Encoder, and Audition
- Able to work within low budgets
- Enthusiasm for educating about Judaism and Israel
- Strong organizational and follow-through skills with great attention to detail
- Solution-oriented; able to creatively troubleshoot
- Able to meet deadlines and thrive in fast-paced, demanding environments while juggling multiple projects
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Able to independently learn new skills and technologies as needed
- Fluency in English; Hebrew skills a plus
