Events

• Develop technical work instructions for Corrective and Preventive Maintenance in accordance with Integrated Safety Management System principles
• Interface with Work Task requestor to fully define the scope of work
• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for the Integrated Work Control Process
• Interface with other Subject Matter Experts to facilitate Scoping and Hazard Analysis (JHA) walkdowns
• Engage appropriate SMEs to identify appropriate Lock Out / Tag Out (LOTO) procedures, as necessary
• Involve required SMEs during work package review/approval and incorporate feedback throughout the process
• Own the work package from initiation to close out, including records disposition
• Execute the Change Control Process when conditions require a revision of the work instructions

Planner, Preventative Maintenance

Engineer

• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary engineers across multiple locations
• Review and disposition supplier mechanical design submittals to validate designs based on technical requirements
• Interface with stakeholders to ensure project objectives are satisfied
• Apply ASME Y14.5 Geometric Tolerancing principles and GD&T into designs
• Support design reviews and technical interchanges with Suppliers
• Provide design-for-manufacturability input and recommendations to senior project personnel
• Ensure designs comply with relevant engineering codes and standards (e.g., ASME, AWS)
• Work on projects supporting the Naval Nuclear Laboratory at Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory (West Mifflin, PA)

Manufacturability Engineer

Manager

• Plans and manages operations performed by professional staff in support of CH-TRU activities
• Responsible for the oversight and management of professional staff engaged in coordination of subcontractor’s work
• Ensures effective policies, procedures, and systems are in place to support N3B subcontractor oversight
• Ensures effective communication between the STRs, SRs, Project Managers, and N3B Mangement
• Oversees subcontractor’s projects quality, safety, timing, cost and compliance
• Ensures STRs/SRs are trained and qualified for their positions
• Evaluates project requirements and performance to ensure N3B operational objectives and safety requirements are met
• Performs periodic reviews of STR/SR field files to ensure files are complete and in compliance with N3B procedures
• Reviews team members goals and provides managerial feedback; performs annual reviews and makes recommendations for salary increases
• Coordinates with Program Director to manage staffing including interviewing and hiring of new employees
• Reviews and approves time for team members and manages vacation and paid time off (PTO) requests
• Matrixed position reporting to the Director, STR/SR Program within N3B’s Strategic Planning and Integration organization
• Performs other duties as assigned

Senior Manager, Subcontract Representatives

Mechanical Engineer

• Support the Propulsion Plant Team Trainer (PPTT) project: design, production, testing, and delivery of advanced training simulators
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineers across multiple locations
• Review and disposition Supplier mechanical design submittals to validate designs based on technical requirements
• Interface with stakeholders to ensure project objectives are satisfied
• Review static structural analyses of designs
• Participate in design reviews and technical interchanges with Suppliers
• Ensure designs meet applicable engineering codes, standards, and manufacturability requirements

Electrical Engineer

• Support the Propulsion Plant Team Trainer (PPTT) project, engaged in design, production, testing, and delivery of advanced training simulators
• Perform electrical drafting
• Collaborate with engineers to create or modify designs and drawings for PPTT equipment
• Review Supplier electrical designs for adherence to technical requirements
• Work as part of a multi-site organization and collaborate across Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory and other NNL sites
