Develop technical work instructions for Corrective and Preventive Maintenance in accordance with Integrated Safety Management System principles
Interface with Work Task requestor to fully define the scope of work
Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for the Integrated Work Control Process
Interface with other Subject Matter Experts to facilitate Scoping and Hazard Analysis (JHA) walkdowns
Engage appropriate SMEs to identify appropriate Lock Out / Tag Out (LOTO) procedures, as necessary
Involve required SMEs during work package review/approval and incorporate feedback throughout the process
Own the work package from initiation to close out, including records disposition
Execute the Change Control Process when conditions require a revision of the work instructions
Use Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) software to status and track work package during the planning process
Participate in Schedule Meetings to provide work package status updates and ensure alignment with site priorities
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree
3+ years of relevant experience
United States (U.S.) citizenship required
Ability to obtain and maintain a government issued clearance, if needed
Knowledge of and experience with facility maintenance planning including systems engineering design and maintenance, safety/authorization basis, configuration management programs, work control, facility control systems, major construction projects, and upgrades and renovations
Expertise in conducting research, investigating and identifying alternative solutions to solve complex problems affecting facility maintenance and administration
Full understanding of work hazards, safety practices, operating configuration
Knowledge of Integrated Safety Management Systems (ISMS) implementation, and OSHA requirements for safe work performance
Ability to perform duties and tasks that are varied and complex
Ability to serve as a resource to others in the resolution of problems and issues
Required level of language skills, mathematical skills, communication skills, reasoning ability and computer skills necessary to perform essential functions
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) required
Able to develop approaches for new or improved processes
Ability to work with broad objectives, with latitude to determine the best way to accomplish tasks
Able to lead certain aspects of a task or project
Must be able to complete and maintain all training and qualifications required for the position
Experience in using Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) software is preferred
Prior US Department of Energy Nuclear experience is preferred
