About the role
- Lead One Wind Contractor Safety Management program, including Framework standardization and implementation across Wind
- Integrate and operationalize GE Vernova Contractor Safety core technical program expectations into the One Wind organization
- Manage proactive and reactive (e.g., performance improvement plans/mitigations) with contractor partners and Wind stakeholders
- Conduct Contractor Safety EHS audits and provide detailed reports on findings and necessary actions
- Work with regional teams to support contractor safety focus activities
- Serve as a coach and mentor to team to drive excellence in GE Vernova EHS Contractor Safety Programs
- Collaborate with Wind CoE Team members and regional contractor safety resources to drive program improvements
Requirements
- 7-10 years’ experience supporting Contractor Safety programs
- Bachelor of Science in Occupational Health and Safety or technical equivalent from an accredited college or university, or equivalent qualification
- Certified Health and Safety professional
- Prior experience in Wind industry and/or construction fields
- Significant experience and demonstrated achievements with safety programs, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
- Medical fitness and ability to work at height per local and global standards
- Knowledge of EHS management systems
- Fluent English with strong communication skills (verbal and written)
