About the role
- Define and articulate a clear product vision and strategy for the Global Payroll platform and develop a long-term roadmap
- Become the subject matter expert for the domain by understanding functional capabilities, limitations, user scenarios, and business value
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (engineering, sales, customer success, operations, legal) to ensure alignment on product goals
- Lead and inspire cross-functional teams to deliver impactful results and drive POC completion
- Lead efforts to enhance platform features that streamline global payroll processes including onboarding, management, and reporting
- Identify opportunities for automation and integration with third-party tools (like HRIS systems) and champion user-centric development through market research and user testing
- Ensure the platform remains compliant with evolving labor laws, payroll regulations, and industry standards across multiple jurisdictions
- Partner with legal and compliance teams to mitigate risks and support regulatory requirements
- Use data and analytics to measure platform performance, track user engagement, and define success metrics (KPIs) related to revenue, adoption, retention, and operational efficiency
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in product management, with a significant portion at a senior or principal level
- Demonstrated success in owning a product from ideation to launch, managing both strategic vision and tactical execution
- Experience ideally within B2B SaaS platforms
- Strategic and data-driven mindset; strong analytical skills with experience using product data, metrics, and KPIs
- Proven ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and designers
- Experience collaborating closely with engineering, sales, customer success, operations, and legal/compliance teams
- Customer-centric approach with experience in user research, persona development, and user testing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to influence across departments
