About the role
- Drive and lead strategic cross-functional initiatives from concept to delivery with transparency and accountability
- Lead cross-company projects ensuring alignment between Lyft and Freenow
- Push and manage workstream leads to deliver milestones and provide support
- Identify, proactively solve, and escalate risks as necessary
- Leverage deep technical expertise in large-scale distributed 24x7 production systems to build plans and ensure smooth launches
- Partner with engineering, product, data science, analytics, and operations to enable rapid iteration and delight riders and drivers
- Support Rider, Driver, Marketplace, and Platform growth including Airports, Marketplace expansion, Autonomous Vehicles, Payments and Mapping
- Act as an enabler and gatekeeper holding project leads accountable
- Identify and resolve systemic issues impacting Freenow engineering and take action to resolve
Requirements
- Technical background with product and software engineering experience
- At least three years of experience in a customer-facing product environment
- Experience leading cross-functional complex projects iteratively with multiple dependencies
- Proven ability to operate effectively and autonomously across multiple teams in situations of extreme ambiguity
- Experience building roadmaps, release plans, and project plans with dependency management
- Ability to communicate technical problems and solutions to engineers, partners, and C-level executives
- Ability to influence, negotiate, and inspire others in a matrixed environment
- Excellent organization, planning skills, and attention to detail
- Experience delivering projects in large-scale, distributed production systems and 24x7 production operations
- Experience compiling and presenting business and technology options backed by data and experimentation to decision-makers
