About the role
- Lead the migration of long-term forecasting, capacity planning, and scenario modelling from Google Sheets into Anaplan
- Design, implement, and maintain Anaplan models accounting for complex variables and providing forward-looking predictions
- Develop and lead consistent best-practice capacity and scenario modelling for Operations, running multiple scenarios linked to forecasts, capacity, costs, and SLAs
- Prepare executive-level reports and presentations on capacity plans, scenario analysis, cost modelling, and hiring plans; provide regular updates to senior leadership
- Analyse large datasets within Anaplan, identify patterns and trends, and communicate key insights to stakeholders; enable self-serve visibility on capacity, hiring and P&L impacts
- Collaborate with Operations, People, Finance, Product, and Change teams to align capacity planning models with company goals
- Regularly evaluate accuracy and effectiveness of capacity plans, budgets and scenario models and implement enhancements
- Partner with operational domain leaders to produce and communicate headcount budgets and model changes to costs, highlighting opportunities and risks to plan
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in strategic capacity planning, long-term forecasting, and complex scenario modelling
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining models in Anaplan; Anaplan Level 2 Model Builder or equivalent
- Proven track record of creating and managing sophisticated forecasting and capacity models that drive business outcomes
- Experience presenting complex data to executive leadership and influencing decision-making
- Excellent analytical skills, ability to understand data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable strategies
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and senior executives
- Strong proficiency in data analysis and a meticulous approach to data integrity
- Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
