About the role

  • Oversee Southwest sales territory and lead a team of sales reps
  • Expand pipeline of prospects, qualify decision makers, introduce services, and close businesses
  • Report into the Senior Vice President of Growth
  • Manage day-to-day activities of the broker and enterprise sales channels in the territory
  • Create a culture of high-performance, accountability, and empathy on the team
  • Own teamwide new revenue targets and support company ARR goals
  • Help shape go-to-market plans in the territory
  • Report on team performance and projections to executive leadership and stakeholders
  • Work with revenue operations, peer regional VP, and management to set individual rep quotas and daily call/meeting KPIs
  • Hire, train, and manage performance of 6-9 individual reps
  • Review and manage team opportunities and pipeline
  • Review and approve pricing for unique opportunities
  • Travel with and assist direct reports with business meetings and networking events
  • Develop relationships with brokers who serve clients and assist in educating brokers on the First Stop Health model
  • Stay informed on industry trends, news stories and competitive landscape

Requirements

  • Must live in TX, CO, AZ, LA, AR, OK, UT, or NM to be considered
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Several years of experience in B2B/enterprise sales with demonstrated success
  • Experience in employee benefit space preferred
  • Prior experience as regional sales manager working with 3+ reps
  • Healthcare industry experience preferred, especially in telehealth or ancillary benefits
  • Willingness to travel 2x per month
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, quantitative and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently in a deadline-oriented environment
  • Advanced level computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience using Salesforce.com or other similar CRM tools to track sales activity
  • Must be detail- and process- oriented and scrupulously use our tools
