About the role
- Drive sales volume in a defined territory by working with existing accounts and hunting new prospects
- Engage directly with owners, finance managers and sales teams of Home Improvement and Home Services businesses to sell Financeit’s consumer financing platform
- Conduct cold calling, prospecting, qualification and deal closing
- Focus at least 50% of efforts in the field and travel to merchant locations
- Develop and implement business development and sales strategies aligned with company goals
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities and competitive landscape
- Create actionable sales plans to target new dealers and drive origination
- Meet and exceed performance targets and provide feedback to leadership
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners and industry stakeholders
- Negotiate and close high-value dealers to drive revenue growth
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics; prepare forecasts, reports and presentations for leadership
- Collaborate with marketing, product development and internal teams to align sales efforts
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows and conferences to generate leads and enhance brand visibility
- Execute regular training and coaching sessions with merchants
Requirements
- 5 years of experience with B2B hands-on direct sales and relationship management
- Experience in consumer financing, SaaS, or home improvement (strong asset)
- Experience using CRM tools, ideally Salesforce
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines under pressure
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
- Must be located in BC, Canada
- Willingness to travel 50% of the time
