About the role
- Entry-level role on Fastly’s Global Sales Operations team providing Tier 1 Sales Operations support, reporting to the Sr. Director of Sales Strategy & Operations.
- Support the Tier 1 Sales Operations lead in setting the foundation for an optimized Tier 1 support model through process documentation and operational setup.
- Manage and respond to defined Tier 1 sales inquiries within SLAs; triage and escalate to Tier 2 teams (Field, Channel, SE operations) as needed.
- Responsible for managing defined Tier 1 scope related sales inquiries and escalating other inquiries to appropriate Tier 2 teams.
- Partner closely with stakeholders across Field, Channel and SE operations, Marketing operations, Sales Process and Systems, and IT Business Systems.
- May assist with new hire onboarding for Salesforce CRM and Sales tools and support Sales Enablement efforts.
- Work may require availability across core business hours and scheduled on-call engagements, including some EMEA/APJ friendly times.
Requirements
- 1+ years of combined sales, SDR, or sales operations experience (minimum 1–2 years), ideally at a high-tech or SaaS based company.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce CRM and other sales tools including ZoomInfo and Outreach.
- Basic reporting skills in Salesforce and other tools.
- Basic Excel or Google Sheets skills to compile simple business analysis.
- Strong communication skills and willingness to learn new things quickly.
- Availability during core business hours and scheduled on-call hours; may extend to EMEA and APJ friendly time-zones.
- Strong preference to be hybrid near a local office (Denver).
- Preferred: Knowledge of other sales tools including 6Sense, Clari, and dashboards (Looker, Tableau or PowerBI).
