About the role
- Report to the design manager and work within a multidisciplinary team
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and others to define problem space and customer outcomes
- Support execution and development of strategy based on team insights and goals
- Plan and run workshops to align business and customer goals and share outcomes
- Define hierarchy of user needs and ensure coherent, effective, brand-consistent experiences
- Understand area technology constraints and inform product decisions accordingly
- Produce clear handoffs and design specifications for engineering teams
- Apply interaction design at task and flow level and contribute to consistent customer experience
- Work with team to improve product through release and beyond and ensure stakeholder confidence in solutions
Requirements
- Experience working within product teams
- Ability to demonstrate evidence-based design process and outcomes
- Experience designing products for web or native platforms
- Excellent collaboration and influencing skills within cross-functional teams
- Working knowledge of full-stack design systems
- Experience in platform business, eCommerce or online retail
- Excellent English listening, verbal, and written communication skills
- Understanding of prototyping methods and when to use them
- Technical understanding of web/app UI and interaction design
- Some knowledge of working within multidisciplinary teams (design, engineering, product management)
- Experience working on high-traffic consumer products is a plus
