About the role
- Oversee portfolio reporting; gather and document process improvements and develop tools that drive collaboration
- Update project delivery process documents
- Train others to support the adoption of improvements across a team of project managers and stakeholders
- Become an expert in our project management software and support onboarding of internal and external project members
- Develop and maintain a central project risk tracking mechanism for the real estate project portfolio
- Support a broad team in identifying areas for improvement and implement processes, tools, and training
- Support the strategic capital planning process and development of in-depth analytical tools and prepare executive presentations
- Support the project intake process and project information tracking tools to give a broad audience project status and reporting capabilities
- Develop resources utilization and planning tools to allow cross-functional teams visibility of resource requirements
- Generate, validate, distribute, archive, and support project management documentation and reporting
- Monitor quality assurance of project deliverables across a large portfolio and report on metrics for quality, cost, and schedule targets
- Identify, recommend, and implement improvements on the project management process and tools (intake, resource planning, prioritization, close-out)
- Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork
- Support and comply with the company’s Quality Management System policies and procedures
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance and act with an inclusion mindset
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field; or High School Diploma/GED and 4 years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree
- 2+ years of experience in design and/or construction or related field
- 2+ years of experience with project level and portfolio level reporting
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally
- Demonstrated ability resolving complex technical issues
- Expert level understanding of project management methodology
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, such as Project, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation
- Project management experience (preferred)
- Experience in a Project Management Office (PMO) environment (preferred)
- Experience using a cloud-based design and construction project management system (preferred)
- Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 90% of a typical working day
- Ability to work seated for approximately 50% of a typical working day
- Ability to work standing for approximately 50% of a typical working day
- Ability to travel 5% of working time away from work location, may include overnight/weekend travel
