Organize and run project kick-off meetings and create, maintain, and manage project plans to deliver successful client roll-outs
Coordinate and deliver on project streams; support internal and external project review calls and manage scope changes and delivery schedules
Define and set up client payroll processes, payroll calendars, interfaces, reports, and system configurations
Maintain detailed project documentation, status reports, and process documentation
Configure systems and deliver parallel payroll and live payroll for month 1 and 2 as applicable
Lead go-live transition, obtain client sign-off, and document client-specific needs and processes; generate reports to analyze, audit, and reconcile payroll data
Map GL reports if required and act as point of contact for all payroll project matters
Schedule and attend weekly client calls to report project status, risks, actions, issues, and dependencies and escalate issues to senior leadership as needed
Lead end-to-end implementation of a global payroll system, oversee data migration from legacy systems, develop and execute testing plans, ensure compliance with local tax and labor laws, and implement change management strategies
Requirements
5+ years of experience in global payroll implementation and payroll operations for Slovakian market
Strong knowledge of payroll processes and compliance across your designated location
Experience with payroll systems and software
Client-facing project management experience and ability to manage multiple projects
Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred)
Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently (application requires confirmation)

Experience processing end-to-end payroll implementations for China and familiarity with local payroll systems (application queries)
