About the role
- Oversee successful implementation and data migration of payroll systems for Deel’s clients
- Lead and manage the full payroll implementation process, ensuring accurate data transfer and proper system configuration
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders and act as point of contact for payroll project matters
- Organize and run kick-off meetings and create, maintain, and manage project plans to deliver successful roll-outs
- Support project review calls, coordinate and deliver on project streams, and manage scope or schedule changes
- Define and set-up client payroll processes, payroll calendars, and data requirements
- Maintain detailed project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and process documentation
- Configure interfaces, reports, and system settings to deliver parallel and live payroll for month 1 and 2
- Manage go-live transition, sign-off, validation, and generate reports to analyze, audit, and reconcile payroll data
- Map GL reports if required and ensure compliance with local tax and labor laws
- Oversee testing plans, identify and resolve system issues, and implement change management strategies
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in global payroll implementation and payroll operations
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes and compliance across your designated location
- Experience with payroll systems and software
- Client-facing project management experience and ability to manage multiple projects
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently (application form requirement)
- Authorization to work in the country of residence (application form requirement)
