About the role

  • Oversee successful implementation and data migration of payroll systems for Deel’s clients
  • Lead and manage full payroll implementation process, ensuring accurate data transfer and system configuration
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to guide clients through setup, migration, and training
  • Create, maintain and manage project plans; run kick-off and weekly status meetings
  • Define payroll process requirements, calendars, interfaces, reports, and GL mappings
  • Maintain detailed project documentation and obtain client sign-off at go-live
  • Develop and execute testing plans, perform audits, reconciliations and reporting
  • Ensure compliance with local tax and labor laws and implement change management strategies

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in global payroll implementation and payroll operations
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes and compliance across your designated location
  • Experience with payroll systems and software
  • Client-facing project management experience and ability to manage multiple projects
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred)
