About the role
- Oversee successful implementation and data migration of payroll systems for Deel’s clients
- Lead and manage full payroll implementation process, ensuring accurate data transfer and system configuration
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to guide clients through setup, migration, and training
- Create, maintain and manage project plans; run kick-off and weekly status meetings
- Define payroll process requirements, calendars, interfaces, reports, and GL mappings
- Maintain detailed project documentation and obtain client sign-off at go-live
- Develop and execute testing plans, perform audits, reconciliations and reporting
- Ensure compliance with local tax and labor laws and implement change management strategies
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in global payroll implementation and payroll operations
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes and compliance across your designated location
- Experience with payroll systems and software
- Client-facing project management experience and ability to manage multiple projects
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred)
