About the role

  • Oversee successful implementation and data migration of payroll systems for clients.
  • Lead and manage full payroll implementation process, ensuring accurate data transfer and system configuration.
  • Work with onboarding teams and clients to organize kick-off meetings and deliver implementations.
  • Create, maintain and manage project plans and deliver successful roll-outs.
  • Support project review calls, manage scope changes and delivery schedules.
  • Define and set-up client payroll processes and data requirements; manage payroll calendars.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation, status reports, and process documentation.
  • Configure interfaces, reports and systems for parallel and live payroll runs.
  • Manage go-live transition, sign-off, reporting, audit and reconciliation of payroll data.
  • Map GL reports if required and act as primary communication point for payroll project matters.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax and labor laws; oversee testing and change management.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in global payroll implementation and payroll operations.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes and compliance across your designated location.
  • Experience with payroll systems and software.
  • Client-facing project management experience and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
