About the role

  • Responsible for overseeing the successful implementation and data migration of payroll systems for Deel’s clients.
  • Lead and manage the full payroll implementation process, ensuring that clients’ data is accurately transferred and systems are properly configured.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, guiding clients through setup, migration, ongoing support and training.
  • Project set-up: organize and run kick off meetings, create and maintain project plans to deliver successful roll-outs.
  • Client and project management: support review calls, coordinate project streams, manage scope changes and delivery schedules.
  • Define and set-up client payroll processes and data requirements; ensure payroll calendars are managed timely.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and process documentation.
  • Configure interfaces, reports and systems for parallel and live payroll runs; map GL reports if required.
  • Manage go-live transition, sign-off, validation, generate reports to analyze, audit, and reconcile payroll data.
  • Act as point of contact for payroll project matters; escalate issues and report status to senior leadership.
  • Ensure payroll processes adhere to local tax and labor laws; develop and execute testing and change management plans.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in global payroll implementation and payroll operations for Slovakian market.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes and compliance across your designated location.
  • Experience with payroll systems and software.
  • Client-facing project management experience and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
