About the role

  • Provide written customer support exclusively via email and chat in German
  • Serve as primary point of contact for users of a global social media platform
  • Become an expert on platform features, policies, and procedures
  • Diagnose customer issues and guide users through resolution steps; escalate complex/technical issues to internal teams
  • Accurately document all customer interactions and resolutions in the CRM
  • Identify recurring trends and insights from customer feedback to support service improvement
  • Collaborate with team members and other internal departments for smooth support handovers
  • Aim to meet and exceed SLAs and customer satisfaction targets
  • Stay updated with new platform features, service updates, and support processes through continuous learning

Requirements

  • Exceptional German (C2 level): fluent German with impeccable written communication skills
  • Proficient English (B2 level) for internal communication and training
  • Customer-focused with a genuine passion for helping people
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; keen eye for detail
  • Adaptable and collaborative; comfortable working independently and in teams
  • Highly organized; ability to manage multiple customer interactions and prioritize effectively
  • Flexibility regarding shifts (specifics discussed during interview)
  • Prior experience in customer service, social media support, or digital support valued but not required
  • Legal work documents (MANDATORY): valid documents allowing the candidate to live and work in the European Union/Portugal
  • Willingness to work on-site in Porto, Portugal
