About the role

  • Proactively sell exhibition space, sponsorship, and digital packages to new and existing clients
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline through research, prospecting, and networking
  • Conduct client meetings (phone, video, face-to-face) to understand needs and present tailored opportunities
  • Work with the Sales Director to achieve and exceed individual and team revenue targets
  • Maintain accurate records of activity, pipeline, and forecasts using CRM (Salesforce) systems
  • Support onsite rebook activity and ensure maximum floorplan occupancy
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to deliver a seamless exhibitor experience
  • Represent Futurebuild at industry events, networking with key decision-makers
  • Own clients and prospects, building trusting and lasting relationships
  • Attend competitor events and grow industry expertise

Requirements

  • Proven B2B sales experience (events/exhibitions ideal, but open to other sectors)
  • Target-driven, with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Consultative sales approach – able to listen, problem-solve, and build long-term partnerships
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage your own pipeline and workload
  • Interest in sustainability and innovation within the built environment is highly desirable
  • Understanding of Salesforce is an advantage
