About the role
- Proactively sell exhibition space, sponsorship, and digital packages to new and existing clients
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline through research, prospecting, and networking
- Conduct client meetings (phone, video, face-to-face) to understand needs and present tailored opportunities
- Work with the Sales Director to achieve and exceed individual and team revenue targets
- Maintain accurate records of activity, pipeline, and forecasts using CRM (Salesforce) systems
- Support onsite rebook activity and ensure maximum floorplan occupancy
- Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to deliver a seamless exhibitor experience
- Represent Futurebuild at industry events, networking with key decision-makers
- Own clients and prospects, building trusting and lasting relationships
- Attend competitor events and grow industry expertise
Requirements
- Proven B2B sales experience (events/exhibitions ideal, but open to other sectors)
- Target-driven, with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Consultative sales approach – able to listen, problem-solve, and build long-term partnerships
- Self-starter with the ability to manage your own pipeline and workload
- Interest in sustainability and innovation within the built environment is highly desirable
- Understanding of Salesforce is an advantage
