About the role
- Grow and retain assigned Dodge Construction Network (Dodge) clients by proactively problem solving and determining the path to value for each customer
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding clients' needs and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Develop strategies to increase sales and revenue for existing clients including upselling additional products and services and negotiating contracts
- Identify new opportunities within accounts by developing and executing strategic account plans for key clients, outlining objectives, tactics, and timelines
- Uncover potential customer dissatisfaction early through relationship development
- Overcome objections by reinforcing product value through customer analytics and ongoing value selling
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and driving value
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product and Customer Care to meet clients' specific needs
- Act as a client advocate within the organization and wholly own the customer experience
- Provide training and support to clients on using products or services, including demonstrations and training sessions
- Attain all KPIs designed to improve account retention, including contact rate, upsell, renewal and retention ratios
- Follow SOPs for all account interactions within CRM systems and other tools
- Take advantage of job, product, and industry-related training opportunities
- Report directly to the Director, Regional Sales and play a critical role in driving sales growth and client retention
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent education and work experience
- 3+ years of relevant sales experience
- Proficiency in desktop software programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to learn SaaS products
- Basic construction industry knowledge or ability to learn construction industry knowledge

- Preferred: Previous CRM or order management experience
- Willingness to travel as needed for face-to-face meetings with accounts
