Develop and close new business or expand footprint in current customers in an assigned geographic territory
Acquire new customers and sell additional use cases, products and services into existing accounts
Build and manage a sales pipeline through prospecting efforts into a geographic territory or within the core verticals
Develop and deliver customized sales presentations and product demonstrations by phone and via online demo
Develop and negotiate enterprise-level proposals and contracts
Forecast sales activity and revenue achievements accurately through proper use of sales tools
Collaborate effectively and engage various pre/post sales resources including Sales Development Representatives, Market Development Representatives, Solutions Engineers, Account Managers, Partner Account Managers, Legal, Security, Professional Services and Customer Support
Accountable for exceeding monthly and quarterly quotas, proactive deal management, and forecast accuracy
Individual contributor role reporting to the Regional Vice President, Majors
Requirements
Basic BS/BA degree
5+ years of prior sales experience (Preferred 7+ years prior experience in a quota-carrying sales role)
Proven success with prospecting, developing leads, managing complex sales-cycles, and closing deals in small-to-medium or mid-market accounts
Proficient computer skills, including CRM tools, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel, Google Suite
Strong business acumen including prior experience managing multiple concurrent client relationships
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Comfortable with some ambiguity, demonstrating a willingness to learn and ramp quickly
Experience with forecasting, pipeline management, and meeting/exceeding sales quotas
