About the role
- Report to the Chief Transformation Officer and provide programme leadership across multi-product SaaS and data solutions
- Own end-to-end delivery of customer-facing programmes, ensuring successful outcomes for clients and the business
- Bring structure, governance and customer-centricity to the client delivery model and align internal teams and external stakeholders behind a clear programme plan
- Establish and maintain robust governance, programme plans, risk registers and reporting mechanisms
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout programme delivery, ensuring excellent communication and customer satisfaction
- Drive collaboration across Product, Technology, Data, Operations and Commercial teams to ensure seamless execution
- Monitor and report on programme progress, budget, risks and dependencies to senior stakeholders and the ExCo
- Bridge waterfall project management and agile delivery in software development teams to provide clarity and confidence to projects
- Ensure lessons learned and best practices are embedded into future programmes to drive continuous improvement
- Travel to Defaqto HQ in Haddenham, offices in London and customer sites as required
Requirements
- Experience as a Programme Manager, Senior Project Manager or Delivery Lead within a SaaS, technology, or data-driven business
- Demonstrable success in delivering complex, multi-stakeholder programmes on time and within budget
- Strong customer engagement skills with proven success in building trusted relationships with clients
- Experience of programme governance, risk management and reporting at executive level
- Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and balance competing priorities
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the confidence to work with senior stakeholders including ExCo
- A customer-first mindset with the ability to translate client needs into actionable delivery plans
- Entrepreneurial and pragmatic approach – willing to roll up your sleeves and get involved in the detail when needed
- Right to work in the UK long term without sponsorship
- Willingness to travel to Haddenham, London and customer sites as needed
