About the role

  • Datarails is the financial planning and analysis platform that automates data consolidation, reporting, and planning while enabling finance teams to continue using Excel
  • Advise finance professionals from middle management through the C-suite, customize their Datarails platform, and train them on product updates
  • Understand current client situations, helping simplify models and existing data
  • Create detailed business analyses outlining problems, opportunities and solutions (budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, reporting)
  • Manage, interpret, and validate customer data and recommend process changes to optimize procedures
  • Build long-term strategic relationships with customers, gather requirements and provide financial reporting support
  • 100% remote-based anywhere in the UK; no sponsorship or relocation assistance

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in customer success, consulting, or similar customer-facing role, and a finance or accounting background
  • Deep knowledge and solid experience in advanced Excel functions (formulas, Vlookup, Pivot Table, Power Query and complex models)
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills; ability to engage with CFOs, VPs and Directors of Finance
  • Comfortable with upselling and renewal conversations
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
