Security Engineer

• Lead security assurance across cloud platforms and modern development practices.
• Focus on Microsoft Azure/365.
• Combine hands-on cloud security engineering, DevSecOps expertise, solution architecture review, and security governance.
• Work closely with Service Delivery, Architecture, and Development teams to embed robust security controls across the SDLC.
• Proactively identify risks and support the secure operation of enterprise systems.
• Act as a key escalation point within the Security function.
• Contribute to incident response, threat modelling, and continuous improvement of security capabilities.
• Secure cloud environments, including Azure, Microsoft Entra, Microsoft 365, and Salesforce.
• Provide expert guidance and assurance across cloud architecture, SaaS integrations, design submissions, and technical change processes.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend future-state secure solutions.
• Assess internally developed application designs from a security perspective.
• Provide operational support for the Microsoft Defender suite (Endpoint, Identity, O365, Cloud).
• Investigate and triage outputs from SIEM, vulnerability scanners, and security tools.
• Support incident response processes by contributing technical analysis and remediation guidance.
• Support secure delivery across IaaS, PaaS, Containers, and Infrastructure-as-Code environments.
• Ensure secure integration of APIs, cloud-native services, and CI/CD tooling.
• Support container platform security, particularly within Red Hat OpenShift/Azure Red Hat OpenShift environments.
• Design and maintain IAM capabilities including provisioning, RBAC, ABAC, SCIM, PAM, and LDAP-based integrations.
• Provide expert guidance on modern authentication and authorization frameworks (OAuth 2, OIDC, SAML).
• Support management of certificates, token-based authentication, and federated identity platforms.
• Ensure alignment with industry frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS benchmarks.
• Monitor, measure, and report on the effectiveness of security controls.
• Support internal and third-party audits and assurance programmes.

Senior Cloud Security Engineer

Recruitment

• Manage all aspects of the recruitment process including proactive candidate sourcing, screening of CVs, interviewing and negotiating offers;
• Directly source candidates through various channels, including social media, job boards, and networking;
• Form strong relationships by building trust with internal stakeholders to develop and execute sourcing strategies;
• Responsible for implementation of the Davy diversity strategy through our recruitment practices;
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment campaign for the Davy Internship Programme up to offer stage;
• Generate and analyse recruitment metrics to inform decision-making and improve processes.
• Work with the internal marketing team to develop candidate brand awareness and engagement with target markets;
• Assist with the implementation of the new HRIS system, ensuring seamless integration and adoption across the organization for recruitment.
• Understand the Davy business strategy and departmental objectives to ensure strong alignment of people with roles;
• Provide an exceptional, high touch experience, for every candidate, in line with our Davy values, through the entire recruitment lifecycle;
• Manage relationships with third parties, such as recruiters and executive search providers;
• Participate in job fairs, career events, and other networking opportunities.
• Ensure exceptional experience for all prospective candidates;
• Manage ad hoc projects as required, ensuring timely and effective delivery.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations and best practices to continuously improve recruitment strategies
• Comply with the Risk and Compliance frameworks, policies and procedures associated with the role.
