About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Verification and quality control checking of payments processed by the team
Completion of daily automated EFT payment report
Managing daily deposit movements between Davy and partnering institutions
Posting of deposit interest and query resolution
Processing of FX transactions on behalf of clients
Partnering with Group Risk and departmental risk teams to promote a strong risk culture
Assisting team director with strategic projects and system developments
Providing support to other members of the team and covering team members as required
Operating in line with risk and compliance frameworks and associated policies

Requirements

What you’ll need

Relevant third level degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline
Previous banking/payment experience preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Critical thinking skills, accuracy, and diligence
Experience of successfully working to tight deadlines
A positive attitude, strong work ethic, flexible outlook and a high level of initiative and enthusiasm
Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
