• Own Dave's portfolio of payments and network partners, including card networks, payment processors, tokenization providers, fraud platforms, reconciliation infrastructure, ATM networks, cash-reload partners, and related payment vendors.
• Lead the commercial strategy across your portfolio, including interchange optimization, network incentives, processor economics, contract renewals, and ongoing cost management.
• Support operational excellence across the payments lifecycle by leveraging commercial and product strategy to optimize service levels, settlement quality, and reconciliation performance in partnership with Financial Ops, which maintains direct ownership of these operational workflows.
• Evaluate opportunities to strengthen Dave's payments infrastructure through build-versus-buy decisions, multi-processor strategies, and emerging payment technologies.
• Monitor the broader payments ecosystem, identifying market trends, competitive developments, and new partnership opportunities that improve resilience, flexibility, and member experience.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives that extend beyond the core portfolio as new partnership opportunities emerge, including growth, distribution, and platform initiatives.

Data Scientist

• Own Dave's portfolio of data and risk partners across fraud, identity, open banking, bank connectivity, and credit bureaus
• Turn Dave's product, risk, and business objectives into a clear partner roadmap, sequencing renewals, evaluations, and new capabilities
• Evaluate new partners against commercial fit, data quality, risk impact, compliance, cost, and resiliency
• Build scorecards that hold partners accountable: service levels, cost, approval and conversion impact, fraud and risk outcomes, data reliability, and contractual obligations
• Find openings to sharpen Dave's underwriting and fraud controls through better partner capabilities
• Run each partnership end to end: sourcing, diligence, business case, financial modeling, negotiation, contracting, implementation, and post-launch performance
• Lead partner governance, renewal strategy, issue escalation, and risk mitigation
• Build relationships with senior leaders at data providers, infrastructure companies, risk platforms, and banks

• Analyze website performance, user journeys, and conversion funnels to identify opportunities that improve acquisition efficiency and web-to-app conversion.
• Partner with engineering and product to develop a flexible website architecture in Contentful that supports scalable landing pages, experimentation, and rapid iteration.
• Lead search and discovery strategy across technical SEO, site architecture, and content frameworks, helping Dave appear in traditional search as well as emerging AI and generative discovery experiences.
• Build and manage an experimentation roadmap using tools like Ninetailed, translating test results into scalable improvements across the website.
• Collaborate with brand and content teams to develop educational and product-focused content that strengthens trust and positions Dave as a credible financial resource.
