Senior Auditor, Internal Controls

Data Scientist

• You will play a crucial role in developing new product features and automating existing internal processes to drive innovation across Datavant. You will work with tens of millions of patients’ worth of healthcare data to develop models, contributing to the entirety of the model development lifecycle from ideation and research to deployment and monitoring. You will collaborate with an experienced team of Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers along with application Engineers and Product Managers across the company to achieve Datavant’s AI-enabled future.
• You Will: Play a key role in the success of our products by developing models for NLP (and other) tasks; Perform error analysis, data cleaning, and other related tasks to improve models; Collaborate with your team by making recommendations for the development roadmap of a capability; Work with other data scientists and engineers to optimize machine learning models and insert them into end-to-end pipelines; Understand product use-cases and define key performance metrics for models according to business requirements; Set up systems for long-term improvement of models and data quality (e.g. active learning, continuous learning systems, etc.).
• What You Will Bring to the Table: Advanced degree in computer science, data science, statistics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years of experience with data science and machine learning in an industry setting.
• 4+ years experience with Python.
• Experience designing and building NLP models for tasks such as classification, named-entity recognition, and dependency parsing.

Senior Data Scientist

Manager

• Owns all Datavant facilities-related support, including strategy, execution, and local operations.
• Serves as the primary escalation point for field facilities emergencies and provides 24/7/365 emergency support as needed.
• Leads implementation and communication of Datavant’s facilities strategic plan.
• Partners cross-functionally with teams including Office Managers, Site Leaders, HR, Finance, Communications, and others to support initiatives and ensure alignment.
• Manages work order systems, service-related requests, and maintenance workflows through a centralized CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
• Conducts site assessments (both physical and virtual) to ensure properties meet company expectations and brand standards.
• Sources, contracts, and evaluates vendors and service providers; manages procurement and contract execution.
• Prepares and reviews Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Scopes of Work (SOWs), and service provider bids for various projects.

Supervisor of Coding Operations

Accountant

• The Senior Revenue Accountant provides research, guidance and validation (review of work) on invoicing and revenue recognition for standard and complex customer contracts/agreements. This position will provide accounting support to major financial accounting areas, including general ledger accounting reconciliation of associated revenue accounts.
• You Will: Use technical expertise to determine proper revenue recognition of various types of contracts within the organization. Provide this information in a usable format to the Client Billing group.
• Works with Client Billing group to establish appropriate checks and balances in addition to invoicing in a manner that is professional, required by the customer and has the ability to recognize appropriately per GAAP.
• Establish and maintain appropriate documentation as back up for billing along with procedures for completing and recognizing revenue.
• Completes monthly General Ledger account reconciliations for revenue related accounts.
• Develop and maintain regular reports via the company’s accounting system.
• Considers sales tax impact when reviewing contracts and invoicing.
• Make necessary recommendations concerning changes in contracts that would facilitate better revenue recognition for the company (including working with Sales, Operations and Legal teams).
