About the role
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment and facilities issues using a variety of hand and power tools, multimeters, and other electrical and mechanical instruments.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance system to minimize downtime and extend the life of our assets.
- Ensure strict adherence to regulatory codes, including OSHA, while maintaining all necessary ISO documentation. You will actively work to identify and address unsafe situations and promote a safe working environment.
- Maintain a detailed maintenance schedule and capture all performed and scheduled maintenance. You will also effectively manage projects with regard to time, safety, and resources.
- Train personnel on maintenance procedures and work cooperatively with production teams to ensure continuous operation and minimize machine downtime. You will also manage vendor interactions and communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant manufacturing maintenance experience, with expertise in hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- The ability to read electrical schematics and manuals, perform electrical troubleshooting using a multimeter, and demonstrate a strong mechanical aptitude.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment, with a talent for detecting equipment problems and communicating them effectively.
- The ability to lift up to 50 lbs, push, pull, or carry objects, and use proper lifting techniques. You must also be able to work in a safe manner and take appropriate action to ensure your safety and the safety of others.
- This position is designated as safety-sensitive, and drug and alcohol program participation is required. You must also be able to pass a background check.
