About the role
- Directly sell enterprise security software, managed services and consulting solutions across CrowdStrike’s portfolio
- Develop and own relationships within assigned accounts and maximize CrowdStrike’s revenue and footprint
- Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Professional Services, Marketing, Partner Alliances, Finance and Customer Support teams
- Work with external partners including Global System Integrators, Technology Alliance Partners and Channel Partner firms
- Expand sales within existing and new accounts and build relationships with key decision makers
- Develop and execute strategic and comprehensive business plans for each account, mapping CrowdStrike solutions to customer requirements
- Document customer contact and activity data in CRM/Marketing software
- Be accountable for accurate forecasting, quarterly revenue delivery and implementation of account/business plans
- Collaborate with Marketing on account plans including events and roadmap sessions
- Promote CrowdStrike products, maximize brand recognition and publicize success stories
- Provide customer feedback to internal stakeholders for product, systems, and process improvements
- Maintain relationships and regularly engage with senior-most customer executives and CXO-level decision makers
Requirements
- Advanced level of expertise in field sales and account development with a demonstrable track record of over achieving sales goals
- Deep security industry knowledge and ability to synthesize and articulate CrowdStrike solutions
- Experience with presentations, customer service, financial/business acumen, and negotiation skills at senior-most levels
- Deep understanding of assigned accounts including business objectives, technical landscape, Executive/Board personas
- Ability to mentor others in consultative effectiveness and establishing trust
- Thorough knowledge of sales methodologies, techniques and the sales lifecycle of security software solutions and software business value concepts
- BA/BS degree or equivalent educational background preferred
- Minimum 15+ years of relevant professional experience
- Must be located in CA, AZ, CO, or WA (Western US states)
- Timely documentation within CRM/Marketing software of customer contact and activity data
