About the role

  • Manage and lead a team of Community Relations and Education Managers responsible for patient and caregiver education
  • Develop effective business plans to execute brand strategies tailored to geography and customer context
  • Coordinate all business activities and drive results within geographic area of responsibility
  • Ensure effective execution of Sanofi strategies and tactics within assigned geographic area
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to drive disease state and product awareness in the rare blood disorder market
  • Coordinate closely with cross functional leaders (Sales, Thought Leader Liaisons, Managed Markets, Medical Affairs and Patient Services)
  • Develop expertise in relevant CRM tools and ensure compliant utilization by team
  • Leverage expertise in clinical data, disease education, diagnostics, product information, presentation skills and market trends to drive team performance
  • Recruit, hire, coordinate training, ensure engagement and manage performance of field team
  • Visit customers with field team personnel to ascertain effectiveness
  • Provide developmental assignments to individuals to improve organizational capabilities and develop future leaders
  • Provide key market insights and field feedback to marketing and leadership teams
  • Review and analyze data/systems/procedures to support idea generation and implementation of strategic and tactical objectives
  • Organize and execute effective POA meetings
  • Manage and adhere to all company policies and Legal and Regulatory guidelines
  • Uphold and exemplify Sanofi’s core values

Requirements

  • BA/BS Degree Required, preferably in life science or business
  • Minimum 10+ years’ experience in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry
  • Experience leading a field-based team or equivalent leadership experience
  • Experience in launching Rare disease product(s) or complex specialty products
  • Experience in coordinating patient and provider support services such as specialty pharmacy, reimbursement services, nursing services, specialty distributor, etc.
  • Ability to travel 50-80%
  • Must reside within the geographic area of the assigned region
  • Valid driver's license
  • MBA or MS degree in business/clinical/science is a plus
  • Launch experience strongly preferred
  • Hematology experience strongly preferred
