Virtual Care Registered Nurse – Full Time Day Shift

• Collaborates closely with their manager and team to support program initiatives.

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications

Pharmacy Technician – Float

• Managing the care of adult or geriatric patients with general medical conditions or surgical procedures
• Assess patient condition, administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, keep records, and provide support and education to patients and families
• Work at least one shift per pay period as an eAcute Virtual Med surg nurse and the remainder of shifts as a bedside nurse

• The eAcute Virtual Med-Surg nurse is a pivotal member of the healthcare team to assist with managing the care of the adult or geriatric patient experiencing general medical conditions or general surgical procedures.
• The virtual nurse will assist with tasks such completing the admission and discharge process, care plan development and maintenance, patient education, medication and discharge teaching, care coordination, mentoring of new nurses, and implementation of evidence-based care.
• The virtual eAcute nurse assists the primary bedside nurse with nursing tasks not required to be done in person as well as real-time quality and patient safety surveillance.

Virtual Care Registered Nurse

Risk

• Manage and coordinate the risk adjustment programs for Cox HealthPlans (CHP).
• Work with other staff and leaders within CHP to ensure risk-adjusted revenue matches members actual health status.
• Understand financial side of risk adjustment models to analyze the program and provide meaningful analytics to leadership and others.
• Develop, design, and execute risk adjustment operational strategies and processes.
• Ensure compliance with all policies and risk adjustment regulations.

Risk Adjustment Manager

• Works in a fast paced call center environment
• Receive incoming and make outgoing phone calls while serving as a liaison between patients, payers, and other health care team members
• Responsible for order management as well as verifying patient demographics, insurance information, medical necessity and pre-authorization requirements
• Calculates patient estimates based on the service scheduled, contracted plan and reimbursement allowances, benefits and out of pocket thresholds
• May assist in rescheduling patient appointments when required
• May perform preliminary Financial Assistance screening to determine eligibility for assistance programs, facilitate applications and schedule appointments with the Financial Navigation Team.

• Responsibility/accountability for radiation therapy dosimetry
• Accurately interpreting Radiation Oncologist’s prescription
• Calculating and planning radiation treatments by use of treatment planning computer or hand calculations
• Providing support and care for patients by use of competent technical skills, problem-solving, and in cooperation with other health care team members

Medical Dosimetrist – Radiation Therapy

Community Manager

• Pharmacists process prescription orders for outpatients

• Supervise and direct support personnel
• In the absence of the pharmacy manager, a staff pharmacist may be required to assume the essential responsibilities and perform the duties of the pharmacy manager

Community Pharmacist

• The Precertification Specialist obtains authorizations from Insurance companies for scheduled tests/procedures providing necessary medical information for authorizations.
• Interprets patient medical records and reviews cases with the insurance nurse reviewer.
• Accurately enters information into multiple computer programs and insurance websites.

• Has a working knowledge of the admissions, pre-certification, certification, verification and the billing process required by payer source.
• This working knowledge includes practicing effective “customer relations” and performs all functions using organizational and priority setting skills.
