About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of HR compliance and leave functions within our organization
- Own remote work compliance
- Manage leave of absence for CoxHealth providers
- Manage provider contract inquiries
- Support the workers' compensation processes
- Proactively identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to correct any non-conformities
- Support strategic compliance initiatives and implement innovative and analytically driven programs to ensure CoxHealth's compliance with internal policies and external agencies
- Serve as an HR partner, providing guidance and consultation on compliance strategy and governance in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Required: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
- Preferred: 1-2 years HR experience with working knowledge of relevant accrediting bodies, CMS, and other regulations affecting HR practice
- Preferred: Experience in processing leave of absence with knowledge of federal and state leave regulations and employment law
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to perform in highly stressful situations
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive employee information
- Independent decision-making
