About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Pharmacists process prescription orders for outpatients
- Monitor patient drug therapies
- Provide drug information and patient education
- Supervise and direct support personnel
- In the absence of the pharmacy manager, a staff pharmacist may be required to assume the essential responsibilities and perform the duties of the pharmacy manager
- Must be patient-focused, team-oriented and have strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills as well as an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Required: Bachelors in Pharmacy
- Preferred: Doctor of Pharmacy
- Proficient in using computers and computer systems such as excel, word, and power point
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in teams
- Licensed by Missouri Board of Pharmacy as Pharmacist or eligible for licensure by Missouri Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacist and obtains licensure within 90 days of hire.
