About the role

  • Report directly to the Senior Vice President of Marketing & Sales (reports to Christopher Warnack)
  • Build and lead a comprehensive internal and external communication strategy aligned with executive leadership vision and priorities
  • Own Continental’s brand voice and maintain consistency across all platforms
  • Craft and share the Continental story for sales, marketing, and company-wide use
  • Oversee employee engagement messaging and communicate the organization’s strategic plan
  • Lead public relations, creative services, brand management, and social media functions
  • Partner with Human Resources on all employee messaging and collaboration with executive leadership
  • Create and implement a company-wide PR strategy to support sales growth and recruitment
  • Oversee development of employee communication framework: newsletters, leadership connects, roadshows, focus groups
  • Direct and manage creative, brand, social media, and PR teams and guide/mentor direct reports
  • Measure effectiveness of communication strategies using KPIs and engagement survey feedback
  • Serve as trusted advisor to Senior Leadership on communication best practices and change management initiatives

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in communications
  • At least 5 years in a senior leadership role
  • Proven success in leading corporate communications, public relations, and employee engagement strategies
  • Strong understanding of PR, media relations, digital and social media strategies
  • Experience collaborating with HR and executive leadership on employee communication strategies
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage multiple priorities, and deliver measurable results
  • Experience in a fast-paced, multi-location, growth-oriented business environment preferred
