About the role

  • Own end-to-end onboarding experience including pre-boarding logistics, first-day readiness, systems access, orientation scheduling, and check-ins
  • Support new hires with onboarding materials and coordinate internal onboarding training
  • Oversee offboarding processes, process paperwork, conduct exit interviews, and maintain UKG records
  • Monitor and manage incoming HRIS tickets and maintain accurate employee data across systems
  • Support planning of company and engagement events and create office engagement strategy
  • Support internal communications to foster transparency and inclusion and contribute to employee experience initiatives
  • Generate reports related to headcount, onboarding, offboarding, time and attendance, learning and development, and other HR metrics
  • Support compliance, audit processes, SOP development, unemployment requirements, and employment verifications
  • Work on departmental billing, state compliance and filing requests, and provide administrative support to leadership
  • Serve as payroll backup when needed and own ad hoc reporting in UKG
  • Support People Team special projects and other duties as assigned
  • Reports directly to the Senior Director of People, US

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in an office or people team role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and working knowledge of Windows based computer programs, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to improve processes and methods
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task within a fast-paced environment
  • Superior organizational and verbal + written communication skills
  • Professional, positive attitude and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information
  • Highly motivated, self-starter with a can-do attitude and willingness to initiate tasks & projects
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Extremely detail-oriented and responsible
  • Must exhibit a willingness to initiate tasks and perform duties without direction
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and work from NYC HQ at least three days a week
  • Able to lift 15-30 pounds
  • Understanding of payroll processes and ability to be trained as a payroll backup
  • Experience with UKG or similar HRIS and ticket management systems
