About the role
- Oversee and coordinate activities of technicians for setup, installation, repair, and maintenance of machinery including vending machines, micro-markets, and office coffee machines.
- Supervise the Maintenance and Installation Department, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and discipline.
- Direct workers in electrical, electronic, and mechanical maintenance and repair of machines.
- Assist with diagnosing malfunctions and interpreting schematics.
- Manage assembly, retrofitting, upgrading, and installation of vending machines and related environments.
- Communicate with clients on specifications, power requirements, issues, and schedules.
- Maintain inventory of spare parts within budget guidelines.
- Estimate worker hour requirements and adjust work procedures for efficiency.
- Enforce safety regulations and ensure a clean, safe work environment.
- Collaborate with other supervisors to coordinate activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Two-year certificate from college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Certification to service refrigeration components preferred.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
