Collaborate with stakeholders to design and develop high-quality instructional materials
Apply instructional design theories, practices, and methods to create engaging and effective learning experiences
Develop course content, including syllabi and assessments that incorporate multimedia elements and interactive components to enhance learner engagement
Develop instructor course guides
Ensure instructional materials and course design are compliant with accreditation standards and institutional policies
Participate in the evaluation and selection of instructional materials and resources; Update and maintain the course book list
Manage curriculum development projects to completion
Utilize instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) to guide the development process
Monitor, track, and implement instructional design trends and best practices and educational technology
Inform continuous improvement of instructional materials and methods
Conduct needs assessments, analyze learning requirements and benchmark student performance data

Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field (required); Master’s Degree (preferred)
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in instructional design and curriculum development
Knowledge of instructional design principles, theories of adult learning, and distance learning best practices
Strong analytical skills that lead to sound decision making
Good communication skills and ability to work with diverse teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (Canvas preferred)
Organization, time management, ability to work under tight deadlines
Knowledge of current trends in healthcare education
Adaptable to change
Experience in multimedia design and development (e.g., video editing, graphic design) (preferred)
Basic HTML knowledge, proficiency with Storyline/Articulate
