About the role

  • Responsible for overall revenue and gross margin and successful development of the market
  • Execute global and regional strategy and deliver an aligned local market plan
  • New business, revenue generation and gross margin protection and growth
  • Represent all Collinson International offerings and evolve/grow business and capabilities in market
  • Manage market commercial and business development efforts and liaise with region and global teams
  • Report to SVP, Commercial of the Region and contribute to regional leadership
  • Develop strategy to enhance partnerships with current clients and build business with potential clients
  • Conduct ongoing assessment of the market landscape and opportunities
  • Work with matrixed teams: business development, account management, operations, lounge partners, and marketing
  • Support product and technology delivery to meet market requirements and launch new offerings
  • Identify and execute strategic partnerships to enhance market penetration
  • Lead market account teams to drive account relationship development and strategies across sectors (credit cards, banks, airlines, airports)
  • Accountable for business and employment compliance and for providing market perspective and insights
  • Manage Collinson’s identity and reputation in the market and participate in industry forums and activities
  • Align with global programs and projects and work with P&C on recruitment, development, retention, and performance of talent

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in working as a Managing Director, Country Lead or Senior leader in a similar sized global company with a track record of delivering success
  • In-depth understanding and insights into the consumer and commercial environment in local market
  • Ability to represent and champion the group proposition with authority, passion, and conviction
  • Solid people development and relationship management experience
  • Experience in working in highly matrixed organizations
  • Fluency in English, articulate and able to convincingly present complex ideas and concepts in verbal and written form
  • Strong negotiation, flexibility and influence skills
  • People and client management skills
  • Communication and presentation skills
  • Solutions-orientation, curiosity and relationship-building
  • Ability to assess the market to gauge business opportunities
  • Track record in establishing strong local partnerships
  • Well networked in the financial services and travel sectors with a good understanding of customer engagement
  • Aptitude and enthusiasm for pitched and consultancy/solutions-based business development with demonstrable experience in landing major clients and projects
  • Ability to provide thought leadership and direction to functional teams
  • Proven success at managing delivery, performance, and profitability on major projects
  • Strong sales leadership skills; able to inspire, develop and motivate a commercial team
