About the role
- Provide leadership and coaching to the sales team, including weekly one-on-one meetings and ride-alongs
- Develop and implement monthly and quarterly sales strategies, assign territories, and analyze historical data
- Monitor KPIs (revenue, conversion rates, activity levels, pipeline health) and prepare weekly sales reports for senior leadership
- Source, interview, hire, and onboard new sales talent; develop onboarding programs
- Partner with operations, finance, and marketing to ensure client satisfaction, pricing strategies, and lead generation
- Organize monthly training sessions and leadership development for top-performing reps
- Develop expansion strategies for key accounts, identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities, and implement retention strategies
- Create incentive programs and promote a high-performance sales culture
- Act as Sales Executive as needed: manage key client relationships, oversee strategic accounts, and support priority deals
Requirements
- B2B sales experience (5+ years)
- Leadership experience with a team of 5+
- Experience building a team from nothing
- New sales development (5+ years)
- Strong prospecting background (Internal phone/emails and field prospecting)
- Experience in coaching, developing reps in the field
- Experience working with cross functional departments (operations/accounting)
