Lead recruitment, selection, and retention activities
Organize and actively participate in the recruitment and selection process, including defining selection criteria, creating questions and tests, reviewing applications, interviewing candidates with hiring managers, verifying references
Extend job offers and prepare offer packages for selected candidates
Propose and execute human resources programs and services focusing on recruitment and retention
Provide communication and training to both management and staff concerning recruitment, selection, and retention initiatives
Offer guidance and counsel to both management and staff regarding recruitment and selection matters
Assist the management team in workforce planning and related staffing requirements
Establish and uphold policies and procedures for recruitment and selection in compliance with employment laws
Engage in and support Human Resources projects
Provide guidance and recommendations to managers on best practices, human rights laws, and other related regulations in recruitment and selection
Participate in Career and Job Fairs as well as recruitment initiatives
Regularly review, maintain, and update job descriptions
Conduct exit interviews and report trends to management
Follow health and safety policies and practices established by Charger Logistics
Requirements
+4 years of experience in full-cycle recruiting
Familiarity with using tools of the trade: ATS systems, LinkedIn, social media, sourcing tools, etc
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills
Proficient in Microsoft office, with aptitude to learn new software and systems
Bachelor’s degree or College Diploma in a technical field is preferred
