Support Engineer

Provide live and non-live support for a variety of digital solutions we offer.
Use administrative tools to assist in the analysis of technical issues reported by customers.
Troubleshoot and resolve customer-reported issues related to the system requirements of Cengage’s digital solutions, including but not limited to operating systems, browsers, plug-ins, internet connectivity, etc.
Identify issues with digital solutions that require further software development/intervention and forward to the appropriate group.
Identify customer feature requests and communicate upwards appropriately.
Fully and accurately detail customer interactions using a ticketing system.
Provide clear and accurate written and verbal directions to customers and partners.

Customer Technical Support Representative

Analyst

• Virtual/remote position for candidates in the greater Cincinnati OH area; team comes into the office once per quarter or more frequently if needed
• Maintain accounts to reduce the dollar and percentage value of aged items on the accounts receivable file
• Contact customers in assigned territory for payment and chargeback information
• Monitor accounts to ensure collectability and confirm compliance with department/company policies

• What you'll do: Employee Services Serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert to leaders and employees at every step of their Cengage journey; providing care, guidance and coaching while effectively mitigating business risk. Partner with HRTSP team to learn and understand the talent strategy for a business unit(s) or function(s), and enable strong execution against those talent plans
• Play a key role in the implementation of sophisticated organization and operating model projects including org design, role and job leveling, and change management
• Build a performance-based culture by actively engaging with managers and employees; coach managers on nurturing high performance and addressing under-performance on their teams.
• Provide expertise, guidance and coaching to leaders managing highly sensitive and complex employee matters including performance management, terminations, and other employment-related matters.
• In partnership with Legal, lead investigations into employee relations matters with a solid understanding of applicable employment laws, regulations, company policies and procedures and in alignment with Cengage Group’s culture.
• Provide additional ad hoc support and lead additional projects that are prioritized and critical to the success of the of talent agenda – examples include, but not limited to – compensation reviews, proactive retention, engagement survey action planning, etc.

HR Employee Services Partner

Accountant

• Review and analyze revenue agreements, sales transactions, and business models to ensure accurate revenue recognition, reporting, and compliance.
• Collaborate across business units to understand revenue transactions, build reporting, and synthesize the data into executive level summaries.
• Work with JD Edwards Enterprise One & Hyperion; understand SAP’s RAR, Cengage’s revenue processing system; troubleshoot transactions.
• Develop reporting and analytical models to identify trends within sales, returns, and cost of goods sold.

Senior Revenue Accountant

Account Manager

• The Account Manager (AM) is responsible for managing and growing revenue within an assigned geographic area.
• They will focus primarily on growth opportunities with existing partners to achieve revenue goals established for all product lines.
• The AM will work collaboratively with the ed2go Business Development, Workforce, and Marketing teams (and other internal partners as needed), as well as build successful working relationships with external partners.
• The AM must be coachable with an ability to understand business needs and provide viable solutions to reach targeted goals.
• Travel to key accounts and attend national conferences on occasion as required.
• Lead existing account base and, in consultation with territory Region Director, solicit new partner accounts.

Program Manager

• Assist in the development, implementation and administration of competitive global compensation programs, practices and policies that support organizational strategic objectives and align with Cengage Group’s Total Reward Philosophy.\n• Partner with HR Technology team in the design and implementation of technology solutions that support compensation processes.\n• Lead the review, implementation, testing and maintenance of systems.\n• Create and maintain compensation project plans to ensure operational efficiency and effective end-to-end global roll-out and communications.\n• Develop, maintain, and deliver effective communications and training to HR, leaders, and employees to build awareness and understanding of programs.\n• Maintain program information on internal communication portals.\n• Assist in creating analysis, presentations and recommendations for the Executive Team, HR Leadership Team, Board Compensation Committee, Total Rewards Committee, and others.\n• Perform advanced analytics to identify trends, pain points, root causes and offer recommendations to address.\n• Manage compensation data organization, maintenance, and use, including salary survey research, analysis, and submission.\n• Produce compensation reports to support program administration, analysis and ongoing data audits.\n• Evaluate and analyze employee compensation and market data, determine FLSA status, compensation level, and short or long-term compensation eligibility.\n• Assist with annual review and ongoing maintenance of job and salary structures including the creation of job families, job codes and job titles.\n• Maintain job matching database, partner with survey tool vendor and leverage Workday reporting to run and upload data.\n• Partner with HR outsource provider (Cognizant), to ensure an understanding of compensation programs and structures, supporting their ability to answer employee questions in a timely and accurate manner.\n• In partnership with Legal, monitor the legislative landscape and ensure compliance with all compensation related activities.
