About the role
- Virtual/remote position for candidates in the greater Cincinnati OH area; team comes into the office once per quarter or more frequently if needed
- Maintain accounts to reduce the dollar and percentage value of aged items on the accounts receivable file
- Contact customers in assigned territory for payment and chargeback information
- Monitor accounts to ensure collectability and confirm compliance with department/company policies
- Work closely with other departments to resolve customer issues resulting in non-payment
- Provide managers with vital account information and provide customers updated account spreadsheets as needed
- Send written correspondence to delinquent accounts and provide documentation to accounts via fax or email
Requirements
- PC literacy required - proficient in Microsoft Office products including Excel
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Show ability to make sound credit decisions
- Be able to handle workload with minimal supervision
- Strong organizational skills in servicing accounts
- Preferred: Experience in SAP & Salesforce
- Associate Degree or equivalent work experience
